Frequently asked questions
Why does Lockd ask for Screen Time access?
Blocking distracting apps during a focus session relies on Apple’s Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. Lockd needs your permission to apply those restrictions. Lockd never sees which specific apps you select — that selection stays private on your device, managed by iOS.
App blocking isn’t working.
Make sure you granted Screen Time access when prompted. You can check or re-enable it in the iOS Settings app under Screen Time. If blocking still doesn’t apply, restarting your iPhone usually resolves it. If the problem persists, email us with your device and iOS version.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account, so they’re managed in iOS, not inside Lockd. Open the Apple subscriptions page (or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions) to view, change, or cancel your plan. Refunds are handled by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
I restored my purchase but Pro isn’t active.
Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase, then use Restore Purchasesin Lockd Settings. If it still doesn’t unlock, contact us and we’ll look into it.
How is my data handled?
Lockd is privacy-first: your session history, settings, and app selections stay on your device. We don’t sell your data or use advertising trackers. You can turn off analytics any time in Lockd Settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
